Eckert & Ziegler Eurotope GmbH was founded in 1995 as a subsidiary of Eckert & Ziegler Strahlen- & Medizintechnik AG. The objective was to support its sister company Eckert & Ziegler BEBIG GmbH in the design and establishment of automated and remotely operated manufacturing equipment for producing therapeutic radioactive sources.

Initially Eurotope was active in radiation therapy device technology, which amongst others included the manufacturing of radiation therapy products, e.g. prostate seeds, application devices etc.

In 2005 the company decided to expand its product range to radiopharmaceutical technologies. By using its know-how and expertise in the production of radioactive medical devices, Eurotope thus started to focus on the manufactory of the easy accessible and versatile radio synthesis device Modular-Lab. We thereby adhere to GAMP 4/5 and Part 11 compliance.

Modular-Lab’s market launch took place in the beginning of 2006.

The company’s registered office is located in Berlin, Germany.
